Gigi was trained in "protection" but unfortunately her "handler" was.. for lack of better terms... AWFUL.

Gigi was starved and forced to "earn her food."

She was physically and mentally abused.

Help was her "trigger word."

If you yelled for help that meant she attacked more.

She was rescued by a woman who worked very hard to gain her trust. Gigi bit her MULTIPLE times in the beginning but the woman stuck with it until her situation made it impossible to give Gigi what she needed most... Time

Gigi's story is one that breaks our hearts. You can see how badly she wants love and attention but she is still just so guarded.

Here with us, Gigi has all the time she needs to heal from the trauma she endured at such a very young age.
